Siemens Mobility has been awarded $3.4 billion in contracts in the United States to design, manufacture and technically support 73 multi-powered trains for Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation which has transformed transportation by modernizing rail travel in the United States for the past 50 years. There is also a possibility for up to 140 additional trains and maintenance agreements.
