Siemens honors the best journalists and creators
- The theme of this year’s Siemens Media Award edition is “Technology with Purpose”
- Submitted publications must be dated between February 2024 and February 2025.
- The award ceremony will take place in May in Vienna.
- Journalists and content creators from all participating countries, including Poland, are eligible to compete.
Siemens has long supported the journalistic mission of delivering high-quality content about the role of technology in everyday life and promotes knowledge exchange among media representatives in the CEE region. That’s why we once again invite journalists and creators to participate in the Siemens Media Award competition. Candidates from 9 Central and Eastern European countries (Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Slovenia) will compete. The goal is to select the best publications related to this year’s theme: “Technology with Purpose.”
Entries may include content published within the last 12 months, i.e., from February 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.We welcome journalists from print media, news agencies, radio, television, and news portals, as well as bloggers, YouTubers, influencers, and digital content creators.An international jury will select five top publications from each country. Their authors will qualify for the final and receive an invitation to Vienna (including paid travel and accommodation) for the Vienna Ball for Media Professionals. The winner will be announced at the event and awarded the grand prize: a trip for two to the Salzburg Festival in Austria.
