The state visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Germany marks a significant milestone of the strategic relationship between the two nations. Throughout the week, the Siemens delegation supported a number of these engagements including the general assembly of the Germany-UAE Business Council (GUBC), of which Siemens is a founding member, and the first executive technical roundtable of the Global Energy Efficiency Alliance (GEEA), in which Siemens has played a role since its announcement at COP28 in the UAE. These cooperations serve as a bridge between businesses, institutions and policymakers in both countries, helping strengthen bilateral trade, investment and knowledge exchange.
German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), which recently appointed Siemens Middle East CEO, Helmut von Struve, to their Board, plays a vital role in shaping policy that supports businesses for both countries, creating pathways for collaboration that drive real economic impact.

During the state visit, Siemens signed a series of strategic agreements that further strengthen its commitment to supporting the UAE's future development ambitions.
Siemens and ADNOC signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement to accelerate AI, digitalization, and operational excellence, focusing on production optimization and autonomous operations to drive sustainability and energy transition.
A Memorandum of Understanding with Khazna Data Centers was signed to advance the infrastructure required for the next generation of AI data centers. As demand for AI capabilities continues to grow, robust and efficient infrastructure will be essential to support rapidly evolving computing requirements and digital ecosystems.
A partnership with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) establishes a framework to help private enterprises adopt advanced technologies, providing the framework and digital tools required to help local businesses increase their productivity and compete more effectively on a global scale.
