These technologies support the domestic production of Ceva-Phylaxia veterinary products.

Most dog and cat owners are familiar with the veterinary products of Ceva-Phylaxia, Hungary's largest animal health company, which has a history of more than 110 years in the country. Employing nearly 1,500 people and engaged in research, vaccine production, and distribution, the company's vaccines help maintain the health of poultry, pig, and ruminant populations worldwide.

The company's plants in Budapest and Monor must comply with strict pharmaceutical regulations throughout the entire manufacturing process to ensure that consistently high-quality products reach the shelves. This is ensured by modern, digitized building automation solutions that are both energy-efficient and sustainable.

In recent years, continuous developments have taken place in this area at both sites, with Siemens Zrt. supplying – through its partners, SBT Automatika Kft. and ELSZÖV-Automatika Kft. – software solutions for controlling building automation tasks, as well as sensors that can be precisely calibrated for accurate measurements and come with the appropriate certifications. This system ensures that parameters such as temperature and humidity remain within strict limits during the manufacturing process. Thanks to transparent and easy-to-use reporting functions, the application can also guarantee the authenticity and security of the data.

Siemens industrial automation solutions also support smooth production at Ceva-Phylaxia's plants.
