Siemens Digital Industries Software today announced that Siemens was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Product Lifecycle Management for Discrete Manufacturers, Q3 2025 report, an independent evaluation conducted by Forrester Research.
The report, published by Forrester Research, evaluated eight PLM vendors for discrete manufacturers. Siemens’ Teamcenter® software received the highest possible scores in 11 evaluation criteria and received the highest score in the Strategy category among the evaluated vendors.
Siemens was also recognized as a Customer Favorite, based on reference customer feedback. According to the report, “Reference customers unanimously endorse Siemens’ continuity of support, security, clear communication, customer service, and issue resolution,” and all indicated they would purchase from Siemens again.

The report also states that Siemens “reinforces its vision for transforming the PLM foundation of smart manufacturing with a pragmatic, transparent roadmap,” and notes that “Siemens’ commitment to innovation pays off with many above-par capabilities.” Siemens received the highest scores possible in criteria including interoperability with design tools, digital thread, embedded software, bill of process, materials or sourcing library integration, support for small batch manufacturing, innovation, roadmap, partner ecosystem, pricing flexibility and transparency, and support for sales and marketing use cases.
